CNC Field Service Engineer
Machine Tool Supply is a well-established regional distributor of Machine Tools, Industrial Supplies, Cutting Tools and MRO products. We currently have an opening for a CNC Field Service Engineer. We are interested in candidates who have experience repairing and/or maintaining Machine Tools.
You will represent our organization in resolving technical problems while maintaining good customer relations.
Interested candidates should possess all of the following skills:
- Experience working on or maintaining CNC or manual Machining Centers and Lathes
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills
- Dedication to Customer Service and Satisfaction
- Demonstrated self-starter with effective planning and organizational skills
Requirements include (candidates should possess most or all of the following):
- A Valid drivers license and an insurable driving record
- Ability to bend, stoop, stand, climb, and lift, push and pull up to 70 pounds
- 1-3 years experience working with machine tools
- Occasional overnight travel within the 5 state area
- Knowledge of machine tool maintenance
- Understanding of Computer Hardware and Software
- Understanding of meters and other test equipment
- Knowledge of electric motors, servo motors, switches and relays
You will be responsible for:
- Providing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical repair and service on Machine Tools
- Maintaining Tools and Equipment necessary to perform work
- Communicating technical service information to customers
- Analyzing needed repairs
- Setting up new machines and installing options
- Completing service and billing reports for each service call
- Maintaining expense reports
